Soccer Recap: Douglas Falls Short Against Ranked Torrington

Douglas faced Torrington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bearcats came up short against the Trailblazers, falling 7-3. Douglas have struggled against Torrington recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Zander Vollman and Landon Caldron scored all three of Douglas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Torrington, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
