Basketball Recap: Andrew Reed Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win + How To Watch

While Analy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 55-44 win over the West Valley Eagles on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Analy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Reed, who posted ten points in addition to five boards and three steals. Reed is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Jaffe-Stock, who had 12 points.

West Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyce Bauer, who earned 12 points and three steals. He also posted four assists, marking his first of the season. Austin Burke was another key player, shooting 83% from the field on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Analy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Analy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 35-28 win against Las Plumas on the 6th. As for West Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 52-49 loss against Fortuna on the 6th.
