Walton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tate Aggies.

Walton may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 11 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11.

Tate found their leader in underclassman Bailie Merritt, who had four aces and 13 assists. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Merritt. Olivia Johnson was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.
