Basketball Recap: College Park Has No Trouble Against New Caney

College Park had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt New Caney on Friday. Everything went the College Park Cavaliers' way against the New Caney Eagles as the College Park Cavaliers made off with a 45-20 win. The contest marked the Cavaliers' most dominant victory of the season.

College Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Smith, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Gretchen Wright, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
