Baseball Recap: Mount Airy Takes a Loss

Mount Airy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the North Stokes Vikings. The Granite Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mount Airy's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for North Stokes, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Mount Airy will head out to square off against North Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Granite Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Stokes, they will welcome R.J. Reynolds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
