After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lamar County, Gordo was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pickens County Tornadoes. The contest marked the Green Wave's most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory got Gordo back to even at 3-3. As for Pickens County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Gordo will head out to take on Winfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pickens County, they will welcome Greensboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tornadoes surely won't give up without a fight.
