There's no place like home for Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Cypress Centurions 12-1 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Comanches needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Canyon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Cypress, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon will face off against Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cypress, they will head out to take on Los Alamitos at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Griffins will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Centurions surely won't give up without a fight.
