Softball Game Preview: Strawberry Crest Chargers vs. Chamberlain Storm

The Strawberry Crest Chargers will take on the Chamberlain Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Strawberry Crest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Strawberry Crest came up short against Wesley Chapel and fell 8-3. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strawberry Crest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lola Coole, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Chamberlain was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell just short of Alonso by a score of 3-1. The Storm have struggled against the Ravens recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Strawberry Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Chamberlain, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Strawberry Crest has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Chamberlain struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
