Basketball Game Preview: Sylvania Rams vs. Weaver Bearcats

The Sylvania Rams will square off against the Weaver Bearcats on Friday. Weaver took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sylvania, who comes in off a win.

Sylvania is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Fyffe by a score of 51-38. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Weaver took on Saks on Tuesday. The Bearcats took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Weaver's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-11. As for Sylvania, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Sylvania came up short against Weaver when the teams last played back in February of 2019, falling 62-56. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
