El Cerrito strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Those ten runs were actually the fewest the Gauchos have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

El Cerrito got a massive performance out of Arlie Tatum, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Tatum is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games she's played. Leah Sundstrom also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

El Cerrito hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Patrick-St. Vincent struck out ten times.

El Cerrito's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Cerrito will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arroyo at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they will welcome Hercules at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
