Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oak Grove entered their tilt with Trinity on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

While Oak Grove won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 25-13.

Oak Grove's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Trinity, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Oak Grove will face off against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will challenge McMichael at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
