Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Paul Laurence Dunbar walked away with it. They blew past the Great Crossing Warhawks 3-0 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted against the Warhawks since October 27, 2022.

Mia Pendley paced Paul Laurence Dunbar's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pendley got some help from Ava Martha and her 36 assists.

Defeat or not, Great Crossing got some senior leadership from Jenna Browning and Brooklyn Walls. Browning had 11 digs and one assist, while Walls had 11 assists and five digs. Browning has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Paul Laurence Dunbar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-17 record this season. As for Great Crossing, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 25-13.
