McDonald lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Western Reserve, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's matchup. McDonald was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Western Reserve on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for McDonald.

For Western Reserve's part, Kylee Ramsey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

McDonald's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Western Reserve, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
