Basketball Recap: Grady Skates Past Tatum with Ease

Grady lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Tatum, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Bronchos blew past the Coyotes 77-44 on Tuesday. The Bronchos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Grady got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zander Ciancio out in front who shot 53% from the field to rack up 19 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Ciancio has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Rush, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 15 points.

Grady smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Grady's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Tatum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Grady wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-35 win against Floyd on the 11th. As for Tatum, they have also already played their next matchup, a 73-46 loss against Plains on the 11th.
