Softball Recap: Sumiton Christian Takes a Loss

Sumiton Christian lost against Oak Mountain last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Sumiton Christian fell 7-3 to Oak Mountain.

Sumiton Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-16 record this season. As for Oak Mountain, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumiton Christian will welcome Cold Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Mountain, they will host Chilton County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
