Baseball Recap: Pickens Takes a Loss

Pickens lost against Palmetto back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pickens lost 12-2 to Palmetto.

Pickens saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Wilson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Wilson also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Palmetto, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Pickens will square off against Berea at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmetto, they will take on Belton-Honea Path at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Belton-Honea Path has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
