Volleyball Recap: Fort LeBoeuf Comes Up Short

Fort LeBoeuf lost against Warren on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bison took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Malysia Sorensen had an outrageously good game for Warren as she had 17 digs and two aces. Paiden Johnson was another key player, getting ten digs.

Fort LeBoeuf suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-4-2. As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2-2 record this season.

Fort LeBoeuf and Warren should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Bison will face off against Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (45 vs. 307). Meanwhile, Warren (ranked 13th) will meet General McLane (ranked 237th) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
