Wetumpka is 7-1 against Calera since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Indians will take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Wetumpka is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Wetumpka's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Saturday. Everything went their way against North Sand Mountain as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 20 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bailey Carlise was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Taylor Carlisle, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Calera suffered their closest defeat since April 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Benjamin Russell by a score of 9-7.

Calera dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Wetumpka, their victory bumped their record up to 30-4.

Wetumpka beat Calera 7-3 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
