Basketball Recap: Argo Comes Up Short

Argo lost against Lemont back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Argo Argonauts fell 40-29 to the Lemont Lemont HS. The Argonauts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Argo's record now sits at 11-10. As for Lemont, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Argo and Lemont could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Argo will challenge Oak Lawn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 191 places (358 vs. 167). Similarly, Lemont (ranked 356th) will meet Thornton Fractional North (ranked 134th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
