Soccer Recap: Mills Comes Up Short

Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the San Mateo Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in January.

Mills' goal came courtesy of Boston Aurigui, who's now up to two this season.

Mills' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for San Mateo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-12.

Coming up, Mills will take on Burlingame at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burlingame will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mills surely won't give up without a fight. San Mateo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
