Volleyball Recap: La Sierra Eagles vs. Apple Valley Sun Devils
La Sierra was the 3-1 winner over Apple Valley when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Sun Devils on Monday.
While La Sierra ultimately came up short, they really made Apple Valley work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-11.
La Sierra now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Apple Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Sierra will host Hillcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Apple Valley, they will challenge Victor Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
