Soccer Recap: Tri-State Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Tri-State Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Faith Christian Falcons who were credited with the victory. The Faith Christian Falcons got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to the Tri-State Christian Huskies' one. Tri-State Christian have struggled against Faith Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Tri-State Christian's goal came courtesy of Ella Hilborn, who's now up to 11 this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tri-State Christian fell to 7-1. As for Faith Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Tri-State Christian has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against East Moline Christian on the 5th. As for Faith Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Oregon on the 5th.
