Baseball Game Preview: Hannan Wildcats vs. Tolsia Rebels

The Hannan Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Tolsia Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hannan has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hannan came up short against Poca on Monday, falling 15-5. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ian Chaffin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Tolsia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Belfry.

Tolsia's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Hannan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Hannan might still be hurting after the 23-7 loss they got from Tolsia in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
