Baseball Recap: Royal Valley Comes Up Short

Royal Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Silver Lake Eagles, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-1 loss on Monday.

Royal Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Silver Lake, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Silver Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. Marys on the 1st. Hopefully Royal Valley paid attention to the Eagles' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles.
