Volleyball Recap: Southside Christian Takes a Loss

Southside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hilltop Christian Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-10, 25-16.

Mady Staman paced Southside Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Staman got some help from Kennedy Sharp and her six assists.

Southside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hilltop Christian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Coming up, Southside Christian will host Wilson Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hilltop Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
