Football Recap: Montague Wildcats vs. Ludington Orioles

Montague lost against Ludington back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Montague Wildcats fell 45-34 to the Ludington Orioles. The Wildcats have struggled against the Orioles recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Eli Petersen threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. Ryver Jarka was his top target, picking up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.

As for Ludington, they will face off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ludington's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
