East had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-34 margin over the Laramie Plainsmen. That's two games straight that the Thunderbirds have won by exactly 24 points.

Laramie's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Milam, who posted 16 points and eight boards.

East's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Laramie, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-24 win against South on the 20th. As for Laramie, they have also already played their next contest, a 50-31 loss against Central on the 21st.
