Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palm Harbor University). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Zephyrhills Bulldogs a 14-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Hurricanes with their most commanding win of the season.

Blye Monfred looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Beau Harring, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cannon McGuire, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
