Basketball Recap: Frankenmuth Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Frankenmuth won the last time they faced Garber and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Frankenmuth Eagles snuck past the Garber Dukes with a 71-65 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Dukes are ranked 243rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ethan Edwards had a dynamite game for Frankenmuth, going 9 for 12 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lleyton Hoard, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.
