Basketball Recap: Piedmont Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Charlotte, Piedmont was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-51 victory over the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers.

Legion Collegiate Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Worley, who went 7 of 11 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Siuta, who posted nine points.

Piedmont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Piedmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-49 defeat against Catawba Ridge on the 30th. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 109-79 loss against Cannon on the 30th.
