Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeline vs. West Field

For the first time this season, Ridgeline will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the West Field Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. West Field took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridgeline, who comes in off a win.

Ridgeline's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Hurricane 7-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Riverhawks considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Their offense was hitting Hurricane from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Denaeyer Dean led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, West Field was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Weber.

The victory got Ridgeline back to even at 1-1. As for West Field, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
