Softball Recap: Muleshoe Comes Up Short

Muleshoe lost against Floydada back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mules lost 8-1 to the Whirlwinds. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Muleshoe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elena Cisneros, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Muleshoe's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Floydada, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

Muleshoe will square off against Canadian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Floydada, they have already played their next match, a 13-0 win against Sunray on the 24th.
