Basketball Recap: Norris Gets the Win

If Wahoo wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Norris, they should've done a better job of containing Chris Garner Jr.. The Norris Titans strolled past the Wahoo Warriors with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 83-69 thanks in part to Garner Jr., who went 11 of 14 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Evan Greenfield, who posted 12 points in addition to five boards and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season.

Norris' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Wahoo, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Norris will welcome Elkhorn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Norris knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Elkhorn likes a good challenge. As for Wahoo, they will head out to take on Wayne at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
