Basketball Recap: Tripoli Comes Up Short

Tripoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Riceville Wildcats, falling 53-8. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Tripoli's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Riceville, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Tripoli will face off against West Central at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riceville, they will take on Clarksville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Riceville surely won't give up without a fight.
