Softball Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short

Mount Vernon fell victim to Sedro-Woolley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 24-0 to the Cubs. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cubs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Mount Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Sedro-Woolley, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Mount Vernon will challenge Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sedro-Woolley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
