Butler never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Bullitt Central Cougars. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three games in a row.

Butler pushed their record up to 5-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Bullitt Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Butler will square off against DuPont Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crimsons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bullitt Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-16 victory against Fairdale on the 26th.
