McDonell Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Loyal Greyhounds 3-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Macks sure are getting used to it with their 38th in a row.

McDonell Central never let Loyal on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

Claire Ruf was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

McDonell Central's win bumped their record up to 42-2. As for Loyal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

McDonell Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Columbus Catholic on the 25th. Loyal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
