Mississippi School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 55-28 to the Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 61-49 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mississippi School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Illinois School for the Deaf, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

As for Illinois School for the Deaf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-22 loss against Alabama School for the Deaf on the 14th.
