Recap: Everman vs. Polytechnic
The Everman Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let Polytechnic onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Santiago Olvera had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Everman.
Everman's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Polytechnic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-2 record this season.
Everman will challenge South Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. South Hills' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Polytechnic, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Arlington Heights at 8:00 p.m. Arlington Heights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Polytechnic surely won't give up without a fight.
