Preview: Seminole Seminoles vs. Lake Howell Silver Hawks
The Seminole Seminoles's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lake Howell Silver Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Hopefully Seminole is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lake Howell in Florida (Seminole is ranked 124th, while Lake Howell is ranked 323rd).
Last Tuesday, Seminole came up short against Hagerty and fell 53-40. Seminole has struggled against Hagerty recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Lake Howell entered their tilt with Lake Nona with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lake Howell strolled past Lake Nona with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 53-38.
Seminole's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 10-6. As for Lake Howell, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Seminole was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Howell when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 45-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seminole since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
