Preview: Fabens Wildcats vs. Clint Lions
Fabens and Clint are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Fabens Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Clint Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Fabens and 15 for Clint.
Fabens suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Riverside 66-18. Fabens was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.
Meanwhile, Clint ended up a good deal behind San Elizario on Tuesday and lost 51-33.
Fabens' loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Clint, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-17.
Fabens didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Clint in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 73-67 victory. Does Fabens have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clint turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
