Soccer Game Preview: Elizabeth vs. Valley + How To Watch

The Elizabeth Cardinals will head out to face off against the Valley Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Elizabeth, who comes in off a win.

Elizabeth was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Sand Creek 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Elizabeth were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to Eagle Ridge Academy. While losing is never fun, Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Eagle Ridge Academy are ranked 47th).

Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
