Basketball Recap: Marquette Comes Up Short at Home Against Negaunee

Marquette unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 43-26 bruising from the Negaunee Miners on Tuesday. If the Sentinels were looking for revenge after losing 48-22 to the Miners when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coming up, Marquette will take on Muskegon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Negaunee, they will face off against Hancock at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
