Baseball Recap: Tinley Park Victorious

Tinley Park came out on top against Brooks on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Titans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since April 11th.

The team relied heavily on Nolan Cashmer, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Patrick Spilde, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Tinley Park's record is now 13-8. As for Brooks, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-14.

Tinley Park wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-2 victory against Hillcrest on the 4th. As for Brooks, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Chicago Washington on the 4th.
