Volleyball Recap: Whitefield Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whitefield Academy can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Darlington Tigers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the WolfPack of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 19-25, 25-15.

Darlington had a senior duo take command as Isabella Rogers had 13 digs and three aces and Bradford Middleton had nine digs and three aces. Rogers has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Whitefield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Darlington, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 35-7.

As of now, neither Whitefield Academy nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
