The South Aiken Thoroughbreds will take on the Gilbert Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

South Aiken got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Airport by a score of 28-15. The Thoroughbreds haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

South Aiken found their leader in sophomore Kaeleb O'Berry, who rushed for 116 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries. O'Berry got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 72 yards. Another player making a difference was Kyson Mcleod, who picked up 99 receiving yards and one touchdown.

South Aiken's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times.
