East Moline United came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Quad Cities Christian Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since August 28th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day East Moline United got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 13-25, 15-13.

Addison Mink paced East Moline United's offense, picking up nine kills. Mink got some help from Alyse Merrill and her ten assists. Mink was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
