Basketball Recap: Epiphany Takes a Loss

Epiphany lost against Gramercy Christian on November 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons took a 30-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

When it comes to explaining why Epiphany lost, don't look at Delana Norris. Despite the final result, she posted nine points.

Emmy Cook had another great game (as she tends to do), putting up 13 points and four steals for Gramercy Christian. Cook is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kinley Butler, who had nine points.

Epiphany's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Gramercy Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Epiphany didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-24 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 1st. As for Gramercy Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 36-19 victory against Friendship Christian on the 4th.
