Oconomowoc has gone a perfect 10-0 against Kettle Moraine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Raccoons will welcome the Lasers at 1:00 p.m. Oconomowoc is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.
Oconomowoc is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Catholic Memorial, who was ranked 24th at the time (Oconomowoc was ranked second). The Raccoons had just enough and edged out the Crusaders 3-2.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Oconomowoc got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-11.

Oconomowoc's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayce Keller, who had 16 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Keller has posted over her last 11 matchups. Another player making a difference was Sage Christman, who had 12 digs and one assist.
Oconomowoc was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in nine consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Kettle Moraine rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Beavers.
The win didn't come easy: Beaver Dam scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.
Kettle Moraine found their leader in freshman Stella Wilson, who had ten digs, four aces, and one block. Wilson also set a new season-high mark in assists with 45.
Kettle Moraine's victory bumped their record up to 15-21. As for Oconomowoc, their win bumped their record up to 36-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's match: Oconomowoc has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Kettle Moraine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Oconomowoc took their victory against Kettle Moraine in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Raccoons repeat their success, or do the Lasers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
