Gunter entered their tilt with Howe on Friday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They blew past the Howe Bulldogs 69-23. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1166th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gunter pushed their record up to 27-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Howe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season.

Coincidentally, Gunter and Howe will both be playing S & S Consolidated the next time they take the court. Gunter will host S & S Consolidated at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Howe will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
